The Bible story

When the morning arose, the angels hastened Lot, saying, "Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters." While he lingered, the men laid hold upon their hands, "the LORD being merciful unto him," and brought them out of the city, saying, "Escape for thy life; look not behind thee." When Lot entered into Zoar, the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire out of heaven, but Lot's wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow. Read the whole story in Genesis 18:20–33; Genesis 19:15–29 (KJV).

Memory verse: "Remember Lot’s wife." (Luke 17:32, KJV). It is printed on every level.

  • Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.
