Aim for 25–50 cents per child per craft. Paper plates, cardstock, craft sticks, yarn and paper bags stretch a budget a long way.

How long should a VBS craft take?

Plan crafts that take 10–15 minutes so they fit a 20-minute rotation with time for clean-up and talking about the Bible story.

Pre-cut anything tricky, set out one tray of supplies per table, make a finished sample, and put each child's name on their craft before they start.
