- Lot Escapes Sodom and Gomorrah
This Lot Escapes Sodom and Gomorrah worksheet comes in three free printable levels, so every class can use it. Easy (ages 4–6): kids circle the right word, circle the number and trace part of the memory verse. Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight story facts from a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in Genesis 18 and Genesis 19 and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.
How to use it
Teach the story first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.
What's on each level
- Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (spare, the hand, escape, look not behind, salt), two "circle the number" questions (two daughters; ten righteous) and "Remember Lot’s wife" to trace and copy.
- Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (Abraham asks about the righteous, ten, the angels, the two daughters, merciful, look not behind, Zoar, the pillar of salt), plus Luke 17:32 with its words to fill in.
- Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write Luke 17:32 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
- Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
Tips
- For the hard level, give each child or pair a King James Bible open to Genesis 18 and Genesis 19.
