Rahab and the Spies for Kids: Bible Story & Printables

The story in a nutshell

Joshua sent two men to spy secretly in Jericho, and they lodged in the house of a woman named Rahab. When the king of Jericho sent for them, she hid them with the stalks of flax upon the roof, and on the roof she told them, "the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." She let them down by a cord through the window, because her house was upon the town wall, and they told her to bind "this line of scarlet thread in the window" and bring all her father's household home unto her. By faith Rahab "perished not with them that believed not."
