Deborah and Barak for Kids: Bible Story & Printables
The story in a nutshell
Jabin king of Canaan had nine hundred chariots of iron, and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD. Deborah, a prophetess who judged Israel under the palm tree of Deborah, called Barak to take ten thousand men to mount Tabor, and when Barak would not go unless she went, she said, "I will surely go with thee." Deborah said, "Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand," and the LORD discomfited Sisera and all his chariots. Sisera fled away on his feet and died in the tent of Jael, so God subdued Jabin before the children of Israel.
