Hezekiah's Prayer for Kids: Bible Story & Printables
The story in a nutshell
Hezekiah was sick unto death, and the prophet Isaiah told him, "Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live." Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. The LORD sent Isaiah back to say, "I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee," and to add unto his days fifteen years; they laid a lump of figs on the boil, and he recovered. For a sign, the LORD brought the shadow ten degrees backward on the dial of Ahaz.
