Hezekiah's Prayer Crossword for Kids (Easy, Medium and Hard)

These free Hezekiah's Prayer crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (2 Kings 20:1–11), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

The Bible story

Hezekiah was sick unto death, and the prophet Isaiah told him, "Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live." Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. The LORD sent Isaiah back to say, "I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee," and to add unto his days fifteen years; they laid a lump of figs on the boil, and he recovered. For a sign, the LORD brought the shadow ten degrees backward on the dial of Ahaz. Read the whole story in 2 Kings 20:1–11 (KJV).

Memory verse: "Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD." (2 Kings 20:5, KJV). It is printed on every level.
