- Rebekah at the Well
This Rebekah at the Well worksheet comes in three free printable levels, so every class can use it. Easy (ages 4–6): kids circle the right word, circle the number and trace part of the memory verse. Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight story facts from a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in Genesis 24 and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.
How to use it
Teach the story first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.
What's on each level
- Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (ten camels, the well, the pitcher, water for the camels, Isaac's wife), two "circle the number" questions (ten camels; at the least ten days) and "I will draw water for thy camels" to trace and copy.
- Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (the eldest servant, ten camels, the well, good speed, the pitcher, the trough, Laban, "I will go"), plus Genesis 24:19 with four missing words.
- Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write Genesis 24:19 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
- Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
Tips
- For the hard level, give each child or pair a King James Bible open to Genesis 24.
- Early finishers can try the Rebekah at the Well word search, crossword or maze.
