- Pharaoh's Dream
This Pharaoh's Dream worksheet comes in three free printable levels, so every class can use it. Easy (ages 4–6): kids circle the right word, circle the number and trace part of the memory verse. Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight story facts from a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in Genesis 41 and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.
How to use it
Teach the story first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.
What's on each level
- Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (the river, seven fat cows, the thin cows ate them up, the answer from God, over Pharaoh's house), two "circle the number" questions (seven fat kine; seven good ears) and "God shall give Pharaoh an answer" to trace and copy.
- Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (the river, the meadow, the stalk, the magicians, the butler, the dungeon, the years of plenty and of famine), plus Genesis 41:16 with four missing words.
- Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write Genesis 41:16 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
- Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
Tips
- For the hard level, give each child or pair a King James Bible open to Genesis 41.
- Early finishers can try the Pharaoh's Dream word search, crossword or maze.
