Pharaoh's Dream Crossword for Kids (Easy, Medium and Hard)

These free Pharaoh's Dream crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (Genesis 41:1–40), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

• Easy (ages 5–7): short answers, simple clues and a word box to pick from.
• Medium (grades K–2): more words and no word box.
• Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up each verse in their Bible to find the answer.

Use them after the Pharaoh's Dream Sunday school lesson, with the maze and word search.

The Bible story

Pharaoh dreamed that seven fat kine were eaten up by seven leanfleshed kine, and seven good ears of corn were devoured by seven thin ears, and none of the magicians could interpret it. The chief butler remembered Joseph, and he was brought hastily out of the dungeon. Joseph said, "It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace," and told him seven years of great plenty would come, then seven years of famine. Pharaoh set Joseph over his house, for there was "none so discreet and wise as thou art." Read the whole story in Genesis 41:1–40 (KJV).

Memory verse: "And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace." (Genesis 41:16, KJV). It is printed on every level.
