These free Jesus, the Bread of Life mazes come in three levels, so every child in your class gets a maze they can finish. Help the people cross the sea to find Jesus in Capernaum!

Easy (ages 4–6): one path with no wrong turns.
Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.

Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse John 6:35.

Talk about it: The people "took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus" (John 6:24). Jesus said, "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35). He said, "him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).

The Bible story

After Jesus fed the five thousand, the people sought him "because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled." Jesus said, "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life." They said their fathers did eat manna in the desert, bread from heaven, and Jesus answered that "the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world." When they said, "Lord, evermore give us this bread," Jesus said, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." Read the whole story in John 6:26–35 (KJV).

Using the mazes in class

Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.
