  • Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
  • Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.

Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse John 21:15.

Talk about it: When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he "did cast himself into the sea" (John 21:7). Jesus said, "Come and dine" (John 21:12). Three times He asked Peter, "lovest thou me?" (John 21:17), and He said, "Feed my sheep" (John 21:16).

Use them after the Jesus Restores Peter Sunday school lesson, with the crossword and word search.

The Bible story

After He was risen, Jesus stood on the shore of the sea of Tiberias, where Simon Peter and other disciples had fished all night and "caught nothing." He told them, "Cast the net on the right side of the ship," and Peter drew the net to land full of great fishes, one hundred fifty-three, and it was not broken. Jesus said, "Come and dine," and three times He asked Peter, "lovest thou me?" Peter said, "thou knowest that I love thee," and Jesus said, "Feed my sheep" and "Follow me." Read the whole story in John 21:1–19 (KJV).

Memory verse: "So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs." (John 21:15, KJV). It is printed on every level.

Using the mazes in class

  • Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
  • Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
  • Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.

Answer keys

Each level downloads two ways: the puzzle on its own, or with a second page that shows the answer (the path drawn in red). Print the key for helpers, or let kids check their own work.
