As for Me and My House for Kids: Bible Story & Printables

The story in a nutshell

Joshua told all the people to fear the LORD, serve him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which their fathers served. He said, "choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." The people answered, "God forbid that we should forsake the LORD," and said, "The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey." So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day in Shechem, wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and set up a great stone under an oak to be a witness.
