These free As for Me and My House crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (Joshua 24:14–28), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

Easy (ages 5–7): short answers, simple clues and a word box to pick from.

The Bible story

Joshua told all the people to fear the LORD, serve him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which their fathers served. He said, "choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." The people answered, "God forbid that we should forsake the LORD," and said, "The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey." So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day in Shechem, wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and set up a great stone under an oak to be a witness. Read the whole story in Joshua 24:14–28 (KJV).

Memory verse: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15, KJV). It is printed on every level.
