Timothy Maze for Kids (Easy, Medium and Hard)

These free Timothy mazes come in three levels, so every child in your class gets a maze they can finish. Help Paul's words find the way to Timothy, his dearly beloved son!

• Easy (ages 4–6): one path with no wrong turns.
• Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
• Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.

Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse 2 Timothy 3:15.

Talk about it: Paul wrote, "To Timothy, my dearly beloved son" (2 Timothy 1:2). He remembered the faith "which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice" (2 Timothy 1:5). "From a child thou hast known the holy scriptures" (2 Timothy 3:15).

The Bible story

Paul wrote a letter "To Timothy, my dearly beloved son," and called to remembrance "the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice." He told Timothy to "stir up the gift of God," for "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." He reminded him that "from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." Read the whole story in 2 Timothy 1:1–7; 3:14–15 (KJV).

Memory verse: "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 3:15, KJV). It is printed on every level.

Using the mazes in class

• Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
• Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
• Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.
