Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse Mark 10:27.
Talk about it: A man came running and kneeled to Jesus (Mark 10:17). Jesus beholding him loved him and said, "come, take up the cross, and follow me" (Mark 10:21). Jesus said, "with God all things are possible" (Mark 10:27).
Use them after the The Rich Young Ruler Sunday school lesson, with the crossword and word search.
The Bible story
A man came running, kneeled to Jesus and asked, "Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" Jesus beholding him loved him and said, "One thing thou lackest": sell whatsoever thou hast, give to the poor, and "come, take up the cross, and follow me." The man went away grieved, "for he had great possessions," and Jesus taught that "with God all things are possible." Read the whole story in Mark 10:17–27 (KJV).
Memory verse: "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." (Mark 10:27, KJV). It is printed on every level.
Using the mazes in class
- Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
- Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
- Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.
Answer keys
Each level downloads two ways: the puzzle on its own, or with a second page that shows the answer (the path drawn in red). Print the key for helpers, or let kids check their own work.
