  • Easy (ages 4–6): one path with no wrong turns.
  • Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
  • Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.

Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse 1 Kings 10:9.

Talk about it: The queen of Sheba came to Jerusalem with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones (1 Kings 10:2). Solomon told her all her questions (1 Kings 10:3). She said, "Blessed be the LORD thy God" (1 Kings 10:9).

Use them after the The Queen of Sheba Sunday school lesson, with the crossword and word search.

The Bible story

The queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon "concerning the name of the LORD," and came to Jerusalem "to prove him with hard questions," with camels that bare spices, very much gold and precious stones. Solomon told her all her questions, and when she had seen all his wisdom she said, "the half was not told me." She said, "Blessed be the LORD thy God," she gave the king gold, spices and precious stones, and king Solomon gave her all her desire. Read the whole story in 1 Kings 10:1–13 (KJV).

Memory verse: "Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice." (1 Kings 10:9, KJV). It is printed on every level.

Using the mazes in class

  • Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
  • Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
  • Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.

Answer keys

Each level downloads two ways: the puzzle on its own, or with a second page that shows the answer (the path drawn in red). Print the key for helpers, or let kids check their own work.
