Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse Matthew 26:41.
Talk about it: Jesus came with His disciples "unto a place called Gethsemane" to pray (Matthew 26:36). He prayed, "nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt" (Matthew 26:39). He told Peter, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation" (Matthew 26:41).

The Bible story
Jesus came with His disciples "unto a place called Gethsemane," took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with Him, went a little further, fell on His face and prayed, "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." He came and found the disciples asleep and told Peter, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation," and He prayed the second time and the third time. Then He said, "Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me." Read the whole story in Matthew 26:36–46 (KJV).
Memory verse: "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." (Matthew 26:41, KJV). It is printed on every level.
Using the mazes in class
- Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
- Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
- Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.
Answer keys
Each level downloads two ways: the puzzle on its own, or with a second page that shows the answer (the path drawn in red). Print the key for helpers, or let kids check their own work.
