Jairus's Daughter for Kids: Bible Story & Printables
The story in a nutshell
Jairus, one of the rulers of the synagogue, fell at Jesus' feet and besought him, "My little daughter lieth at the point of death." On the way, a woman who had been sick twelve years came in the press behind him and touched his garment, and she was healed of that plague; Jesus said, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole." Then word came that Jairus's daughter was dead, but Jesus said, "Be not afraid, only believe." He took the damsel by the hand and said, "Talitha cumi," and straightway the damsel arose, and walked; she was of the age of twelve years.
