Jairus's Daughter Crossword for Kids (Easy, Medium and Hard)

These free Jairus's Daughter crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (Mark 5:21–43), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

The Bible story

Jairus, one of the rulers of the synagogue, fell at Jesus' feet and besought him, "My little daughter lieth at the point of death." On the way, a woman who had been sick twelve years came in the press behind him and touched his garment, and she was healed of that plague; Jesus said, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole." Then word came that Jairus's daughter was dead, but Jesus said, "Be not afraid, only believe." He took the damsel by the hand and said, "Talitha cumi," and straightway the damsel arose, and walked; she was of the age of twelve years. Read the whole story in Mark 5:21–43 (KJV).

Memory verse: "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe." (Mark 5:36, KJV). It is printed on every level.
