- The Armor of God
This armor of God worksheet comes in three free printable levels, so every class can use it. Easy (ages 4–6): kids circle the right word, circle the number and trace part of the memory verse. Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight facts from Ephesians 6 using a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in their Bibles and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.
How to use it
Teach the passage first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.
What's on each level
- Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (strong in the Lord, the armor of God, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the word of God), two "circle the number" questions (six pieces of armor, one sword) and "Put on the whole armour of God" to trace and copy.
- Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (be strong in the Lord, not against flesh and blood, truth like a belt, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the word of God, praying always), plus Ephesians 6:11 with four missing words.
- Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write Ephesians 6:11 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
- Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
Tips
- For the hard level, give each child or pair a King James Bible open to Ephesians 6. The first question is in Ephesians 1:1.
- Early finishers can try the armor of God word search.
