Scripture
Genesis 12–15

Use this word search after you teach God's Promise to Abraham (Genesis 12–15).

The story: God told Abram to leave his home and go to a land He would show him, and Abram obeyed. God promised to make of him a great nation, and told him to look toward heaven and tell the stars: "So shall thy seed be." Abram believed God, even though he was old and had no children.

Talk about it: Big idea: Faith, Obedience, God's promises. Which word from the puzzle reminds you most of the story?

Three levels: easy (ages 4–6) has 6 big words that go only across and down; medium (grades K–2) has 10 words that also go diagonally; hard (grades 3–5) has 16 words that go every direction, even backwards. Each downloads with or without an answer key.
