These free Tabernacle mazes come in three levels, so every child in your class gets a maze they can finish. Help Moses find the way to the tabernacle he finished!
- Easy (ages 4–6): one path with no wrong turns.
- Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
- Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.
Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse Exodus 25:8.
Talk about it: "So Moses finished the work" (Exodus 40:33). Then "a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle" (Exodus 40:34). When the cloud was taken up, the children of Israel went onward (Exodus 40:36).
Use them after the The Tabernacle Sunday school lesson, with the crossword and word search.
The Bible story
The LORD told Moses that the children of Israel should bring an offering "of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart": gold, silver, brass, fine linen, shittim wood and more. God said, "let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them," after the pattern He would shew Moses. When Moses finished the work, "a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle," and when the cloud was taken up, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys. Read the whole story in Exodus 25:1–9; 40:33–38 (KJV).
Memory verse: "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them." (Exodus 25:8, KJV). It is printed on every level.
Using the mazes in class
- Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
- Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
- Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.
Answer keys
Each level downloads two ways: the puzzle on its own, or with a second page that shows the answer (the path drawn in red). Print the key for helpers, or let kids check their own work.
