  • Easy (ages 4–6): one path with no wrong turns.
  • Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
  • Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.

Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse Acts 6:8.

Talk about it: Stephen, "full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people" (Acts 6:8). He looked up into heaven and saw "Jesus standing on the right hand of God" (Acts 7:55). He prayed, "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge," and then he fell asleep (Acts 7:60).

The Bible story

Stephen, "full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people." Men who were not able to resist the wisdom by which he spake set up false witnesses and brought him to the council, and all that sat in the council saw his face "as it had been the face of an angel." Full of the Holy Ghost, Stephen looked up stedfastly into heaven and said, "I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God." They cast him out of the city and stoned him, and Stephen kneeled down and cried, "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge." Read the whole story in Acts 6:8–15; Acts 7:54–60 (KJV).

Memory verse: "And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people." (Acts 6:8, KJV). It is printed on every level.

Using the mazes in class

  • Give each child the level they can finish: the easy maze for ages 4–6, medium for kindergarten to 2nd grade, hard for 3rd to 5th grade.
  • Tell the story first, then let kids trace the path with a finger before they use a pencil or crayon.
  • Say the memory verse together when they reach the end, then read the "Talk about it" box on the sheet.

Answer keys

Each level downloads two ways: the puzzle on its own, or with a second page that shows the answer (the path drawn in red). Print the key for helpers, or let kids check their own work.
