These free David and Jonathan mazes come in three levels, so every child in your class gets a maze they can finish. Help Jonathan go out into the field to the stone Ezel, where David is hiding!

  • Easy (ages 4–6): one path with no wrong turns.
  • Medium (grades K–2): two or three side paths that lead to dead ends.
  • Hard (grades 3–5): many wrong turns, with side paths branching off other side paths.

Each level downloads on its own, with or without an answer key, and every maze has the King James verse Proverbs 17:17.

Talk about it: Jonathan loved David as his own soul, and they made a covenant (1 Samuel 18:1–3). Jonathan shot an arrow beyond the lad, so David knew he must go away, and Jonathan said, "Go in peace" (1 Samuel 20:36–42). "A friend loveth at all times" (Proverbs 17:17).

Use them after the David and Jonathan Bible story page, with the crossword and word search.
