Jacob, Rachel and Leah Crossword for Kids (Easy, Medium and Hard)

These free Jacob, Rachel and Leah crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (Genesis 29:1–30), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

• Easy (ages 5–7): short answers, simple clues and a word box to pick from.
• Medium (grades K–2): more words and no word box.
• Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up each verse in their Bible to find the answer.

The Bible story

Jacob came to a well in the field, rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother, which Rachel kept, the daughter of Laban his mother's brother. Jacob loved Rachel and said, "I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter," and they "seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her." But Laban made a feast and brought Leah, the elder, to him instead, and when Jacob asked, "wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?" Laban said, "It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn." Laban gave him Rachel to wife also, and Jacob served with him yet seven other years. Memory verse: "And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her." (Genesis 29:20, KJV). It is printed on every level.
