I Am the Vine Crossword for Kids (Easy, Medium and Hard)

These free I Am the Vine crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (John 15:1–8), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

• Easy (ages 5–7): short answers, simple clues and a word box to pick from.
• Medium (grades K–2): more words and no word box.
• Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up each verse in their Bible to find the answer.

Use them after the I Am the Vine Sunday school lesson, with the maze and word search.

The Bible story

Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches." As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself except it abide in the vine, so we must abide in Him, "for without me ye can do nothing." He that abideth in Him bringeth forth much fruit, and herein is the Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; "so shall ye be my disciples." Read the whole story in John 15:1–8 (KJV).

Memory verse: "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." (John 15:5, KJV). It is printed on every level.

The clues

The easy crossword has 6 answers and a word box to pick from. The medium crossword has 8 clues like these:
