A Christian Mother's Day word search with Bible words about mothers, in three levels so every age in your class has one that fits. Each level prints with or without its answer key.

  • Easy: 8 short words (mother, love, coat, child...) and four mothers' names, for preschool and kindergarten.
  • Medium: 12 words like honour, kindness and comfort, for grades 1–3.
  • Hard: 16 words straight from the King James Bible, from Jochebed and bulrushes (Exodus 2; 6:20) to Lois and Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5), hidden in every direction, for grades 4 and up.

Talk about it

When kids finish, read Exodus 20:12 together: "Honour thy father and thy mother." Ask: which word in your puzzle is something you can do for your mom, your grandma, or someone who cares for you like a mom? Then read about Hannah and her son Samuel in our Hannah's prayer story set.
