Jesus Feeds the 5,000

Print this Jesus Feeds the 5,000 coloring page to go with your lesson on John 6:1–14.

Tell the story while they color: A great company of people followed Jesus. Andrew said, "There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes." Jesus had the people sit down on the grass, about five thousand men. He gave thanks for the loaves and fishes, and everyone ate as much as they wanted. Afterwards the disciples filled twelve baskets with the leftover pieces.

Ask: What did the boy have in his basket? How many baskets of leftovers were there?
