Achan's Sin for Kids: Bible Story & Printables

The story in a nutshell

Achan, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing and hid it, and Israel fled before the men of Ai. The LORD told Joshua, "Israel hath sinned," and Joshua said to Achan, "tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me." Achan answered, "Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel": he had coveted a goodly Babylonish garment, two hundred shekels of silver and a wedge of gold, and hid them in the earth in the midst of his tent. Messengers found them there, and Achan's sin cost him his life.
