- Job Trusts God
This Job Trusts God worksheet comes in three free printable levels, so every class can use it. Easy (ages 4–6): kids circle the right word, circle the number and trace part of the memory verse. Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight story facts from a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in Job 1–2 and Job 42 and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.
How to use it
Teach the story first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.
What's on each level
- Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (Job feared God, seven sons, Job worshipped, the ashes, Job prayed for his friends), two "circle the number" questions (seven sons; three friends) and "blessed be the name of the LORD" to trace and copy.
- Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (perfect and upright, seven sons and three daughters, rose up early, worshipped, sinned not, sore boils, three friends, twice as much), plus Job 1:21 with four missing words.
- Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write Job 1:21 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
- Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
Tips
- For the hard level, give each child or pair a King James Bible open to Job 1–2 and Job 42.
- Early finishers can try the Job Trusts God word search, crossword or maze.
