These free Valley of Dry Bones crossword puzzles come in three levels, so every reader in your class can finish one. Every answer comes from the King James Bible (Ezekiel 37:1–14), and each level downloads with or without an answer key.

The Bible story

The hand of the LORD set the prophet Ezekiel down in the midst of a valley full of bones, and they were very dry. The LORD asked, "Son of man, can these bones live?" and told him to prophesy, "O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD." As he prophesied the bones came together, bone to his bone, and sinews, flesh and skin came upon them, and when breath came into them "they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army." Read the whole story in Ezekiel 37:1–14 (KJV).

Memory verse: "Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD." (Ezekiel 37:4, KJV). It is printed on every level.
