Tell the story while they color: God told Gideon to take only a small band of men. At night they came to the outside of the camp of Midian, "and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands." They "held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp" (Judges 7:19–21). God gave them the victory.
Ask: Gideon had only a few men, but God was with them. Why doesn't God need a big army to win?
