Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight story facts from a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in Mark 3 and Luke 6 and Matthew 10 and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.

How to use it

Teach the story first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.

What's on each level

  • Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (a mountain, all night in prayer, Peter, Andrew his brother, sent to preach), two "circle the number" questions (twelve; two named James) and "that they should be with him" to trace and copy.
  • Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (all night in prayer, twelve apostles, Andrew his brother, sent forth to preach, Peter, Zebedee, the sons of thunder, power to heal sicknesses), plus Mark 3:14 with four missing words.
  • Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write Mark 3:14 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
  • Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
