- Thomas Sees Jesus
This Thomas Sees Jesus worksheet comes in three free printable levels, so every class can use it. Easy (ages 4–6): kids circle the right word, circle the number and trace part of the memory verse. Medium (grades K–2): kids fill in eight story facts from a word box. Hard (grades 3–5): kids look up eight answers in John 20 and write the memory verse from memory. Each level downloads by itself or with an answer key page.
How to use it
Teach the story first, then hand out the worksheet as review. Pick the level that fits your kids, or print two levels for a class with mixed ages. For pre-readers, read each sentence and both choices out loud and let them circle.
What's on each level
- Easy, ages 4–6: five sentences with two choices to circle (the disciples, the doors, peace, His hands, my Lord), two "circle the number" questions (eight days; one of the twelve) and "blessed are they that have not seen" to trace and copy.
- Medium, grades K–2: a word box and eight fill-in-the-blank facts (one of the twelve, "we have seen the Lord", the nails, after eight days, the doors shut, peace, believing, "my Lord and my God"), plus John 20:29 with four missing words.
- Hard, grades 3–5: no word box. Kids read the verse given for each of eight questions and write the answer, write John 20:29 with only the first letters given, and answer one "think about it" question.
- Answer keys: every level has one, with a Bible reference for each answer.
Tips
- For the hard level, give each child or pair a King James Bible open to John 20.
