Use this word search after you teach Moses and the Burning Bush (Exodus 3–4).

The story: While Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, he came to Horeb, the mountain of God, and saw that "the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed." God called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said, "I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt." When Moses asked, "Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh," God said, "Certainly I will be with thee."

Talk about it: Big idea: God calls us, God is holy, God is with me. Which word from the puzzle reminds you most of the story?

Three levels: easy (ages 4–6) has 6 big words that go only across and down; medium (grades K–2) has 11 words that also go diagonally; hard (grades 3–5) has 17 words that go every direction, even backwards. Each downloads with or without an answer key.
