The Bible story
Jesus told of ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom: five were wise and took oil in their vessels, and five were foolish and took no oil. At midnight there was a cry made, "Behold, the bridegroom cometh," and the foolish said, "our lamps are gone out." While they went to buy oil, the bridegroom came, "and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut." Jesus said, "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." Read the whole story in Matthew 25:1–13 (KJV).
Memory verse: "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 25:13, KJV). It is printed on every level.
