Tell the story while they color: "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil." After He had fasted forty days, the tempter came, but every time Jesus answered with God's word: "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:1, 4).
Ask: Jesus answered every temptation with "It is written." What is a Bible verse you can remember when you are tempted to do wrong?
