- The Great Commission and Ascension
Print this The Great Commission and Ascension coloring page to go with your lesson on Matthew 28:16–20; Acts 1:1–11.
Tell the story while they color: Jesus told His disciples, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Then, "while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel" who said, "this same Jesus... shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:9–11).
Ask: The two men said Jesus will come again. How can we get ready and tell others about Jesus while we wait?
