Tell the story while they color: Blind Bartimaeus sat by the highway side. When he heard it was Jesus, he cried out, "Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me." Jesus stood still and called him. "And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus." Jesus said, "Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way" (Mark 10:47, 50, 52).

Ask: Bartimaeus kept calling to Jesus even when people told him to be quiet. What can you ask Jesus for when you pray?
